This rug is a long-pile rug with variations of wool and linen. It is named after a bird, the Peacock (Påfågel in Swedish). And it is easy to understand why when you examine the rug's beautiful feather pattern. The original design was a woven rug made in Malaga, a Chenille yarn in wool and linen. This rug was later revived as a hand-tufted version with new yarns.
